3Liter standup pouch is well intended for many products, like liquid laundry detergent, windscreen cleaning chemicals, liquid fertilizer, juice, water, beer products etc.
Usually, to make the most cost-effective package, there is only a handle hole preleft on the top corner, that will enable the consumers carry this package easily.
However, some customers may like to improve the use experience by applyiing a real plastic handle onto the package, just like the rice packages, like 5kg, and 10kg, a plastic handle is indeed a good favor to these consumers who would not like to have their fingers so burdened or even hurt by the handle hole. So a real plastic handle replaces the handle hole as below.
However, as you can see, to accomodate the plastic handle into the package, there should be a larger part heat sealed, and some hole should be pre-left around the handle hole, to make the two parts of plastic handle combined into one integration.
The enlarged part will occupy the space of the package. As explained previously, the filled level for a standup pouch package should be about 75-85% of the whole package, so to accomodate the plastic handle, the package size will have to be extended. As you can see, the right spout pouch with plastic handle is some what larger than the left normal one.

Filled Level
The filled level should be about 75-85% of the total height for the package, with some space left for overfill problem and unexpected shock resistance.
